A week ago I lost my place of work. A huge fire destroyed the company I worked for, and there was nothing left. The building burnt down to the ground and all the workers had no idea, what we would do now. It would take months till the cause of the fire would be discovered and until the company would get the compensation and then would be able to pay us all. It was a very tough time for all of us. Fortunately the cause of the fire was discovered quicker as we all thought. It was a spark in the server room that caused all off this. We were all very surprised because we were completely sure, that out technicians were checking the server room each and every day very thoroughly and they never discovered anything improper. The technicians were questioned and they said, that they had been to the server room the day before the fire and they checked everything and nothing was overheated. Everything was working fine. The investigation went on and we all were thinking about how we would recover everything we lost there. All the files and all the computer discs got destroyed by the fire and we were not sure if we could recover them at all. Some of us were not even sure, if we would be able to get our jobs back, because our company could just close down and that would be it.
